Echo Generation 2 is set to launch on May 27 for Xbox Series and PC, with Steam, Microsoft Store and Game Pass all confirmed as part of the release plan. The date comes from Cococucumber and gives the turn-based, science-fiction deckbuilding RPG a clear launch window after its earlier reveal.

The game follows Jack, an ordinary dad pulled into a strange new dimension and sent across the stars in search of a way home. Cococucumber also frames the project as part sequel, part possible prequel to Echo Generation, which means the new entry is not just repeating the original setup but adding a story angle that connects back to the first game’s timeline.
On the gameplay side, the studio points to more than 100 cards to collect and customize for Jack, Noliva and Bulder, plus recruitable allies that can be summoned in battle for extra assists and card synergies. The package is rounded out by an upgraded voxel art style and an 80s-inspired analog synth soundtrack by Pusher, who also worked on the original game.
That combination makes the release date more than a simple calendar update: it confirms the platforms, the subscription availability through Game Pass, and the core shape of the game before launch. For players on PC, the storefront split between Steam and Microsoft Store is also now clear, while Xbox Series users know exactly when they can jump in.
