Raji: Kaliyuga gets a gameplay trailer and confirms platforms and languages

Nodding Heads Games has released a gameplay trailer running for more than five minutes for Raji: Kaliyuga, the sequel to Raji: An Ancient Epic. The game still has no release date and is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.

The story takes place six years after the original game and pushes the conflict onto a larger scale. Mahabalasura, an asura warlord, tears open the gates of heaven and draws mortals, gods, asuras, and mystical entities into the war. Raji and Darsh then travel toward the Eternal Summit, with the fate of the universe hanging on the outcome of their journey.

The trailer also outlines how the two protagonists play differently. Raji relies on acrobatic martial arts and the Trishul, while Darsh uses Siddhi powers to control gravity, time, and energy. The game adds a custom evasion system for Raji and a Siddhi-based system for Darsh, giving each character a separate combat identity and a different way to handle encounters.

Nodding Heads Games is listed as both developer and publisher. Steam confirms English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Danish, Finnish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Turkish, and several Indian languages.
