Ornament Tower announced as a co-op action-puzzle on Steam

Ornament Tower is the new action-adventure puzzle game from Studio Lotovik, announced on Steam with a release date still to be confirmed. The game follows Azulin and Guaraná, a couple of explorers who fall in the canyons surrounding the abandoned tower and wake up near its base. After getting too close to the structure, they are cursed, transformed into animals, and pushed into a climb to recover their original bodies.

The adventure can be played solo or in local co-op for up to two players, with shared or split-screen support and Remote Play Together. Cooperation is not just an optional layer: the two protagonists have to stay together, overcome hazards, and combine their actions to reach the top. The journey mixes combat, puzzle solving, and story moments built around the relationship between Azulin and Guaraná.

The main structure covers more than 120 floors across five distinct towers, each one shaped around different environments, monsters, challenges, and puzzles. Players will be able to use elements of the environment to defeat creatures or turn them into tools for solving problems. The puzzles involve boxes, keys, gates, time, thorns, and other dangers, shifting the focus between observation, timing, and small eureka moments.

Visually, Ornament Tower combines highly detailed 2D pixel art with dynamic lighting and low-poly 3D scenes built with detailed textures. It includes both pixelated and high-resolution 3D modes, giving the game a flexible look that can move between cute, fantasy, and emotional tones. The story also centers on strange spheres of living matter, tied to Azulin and Guaraná’s attempt to regain what the curse has taken from them.

Studio Lotovik is handling both development and publishing, with the project listed under action, adventure, and indie. Steam features include achievements, cloud saves, single-player support, and shared-screen play, while the listed interface and subtitle languages are English and Brazilian Portuguese. Ornament Tower is not available to buy yet; its launch timing remains unannounced, with wishlist and follow support already active.
