Lords of the Fallen II now has a clearer launch window and an important update for its PC release. The soulslike action RPG from CI Games and Hexworks will launch in fall 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with the PC version confirmed for both the Epic Games Store and Steam. The newly announced Steam version is the key practical change, giving PC players another storefront option when the sequel arrives.

The update was revealed alongside “The Battle for Thorngar” trailer, which introduces fresh locations, enemies, and combat details. One of the newly shown areas is Ysiguen, a large biome partly inspired by Asian mythology. Its landscape includes pagoda towers twisted by demonic forces, corrupted figures, and Lingao the Souring Storm, a towering dragon charged with lightning. The region points to a broader and more varied world, with enemy factions shaped around specific biomes.
The trailer also confirms a new katana-based weapon class, joining the previously announced scythes. Combat is being pushed toward a faster and more responsive style, with brutal executions, expanded abilities, and more visceral dismemberment. The sequel is being built on the lessons of the 2023 game and the feedback gathered across more than 70 post-launch updates, with the aim of making the series’ aggressive combat feel sharper and more satisfying.
Lords of the Fallen II is also set to feature a richer world, a significantly expanded enemy roster, more dynamic boss encounters, shared-progression co-op available at launch, and a more immersive version of the Umbral realm. A specific release date has not been announced yet, but the fall 2026 window and the addition of Steam make the sequel’s rollout much more concrete for both PC and console players.
