Persona 4 Revival combines a year of high school life in the countryside with a murder investigation and a supernatural mystery tied to the Midnight Channel. Inaba initially appears to be a quiet rural town, but that calm is shattered when bodies begin appearing on foggy mornings, hanging from buildings and transmission towers. At the same time, a rumor spreads about a strange television channel that appears only on rainy nights, leading the protagonist and his friends toward another world beyond the screen.

The game will let players experience a new life at Yasogami High School, spending time in class, joining club activities, working part-time jobs, building friendships, pursuing romance, and deciding how each day should unfold. Social Links remain central to the journey, turning relationships with Inaba’s residents into a major part of progression. The closer those bonds become, the more the protagonist’s personal growth and the strength of the group begin to shape the adventure.

Combat keeps the turn-based structure built around Personas. In the other world, the party will face Shadows by exploiting elemental weaknesses, knocking enemies down, and teaming up for All-Out Attacks. Collecting and equipping different Personas allows players to shape their own fighting style, choosing skills and strategies that fit each battle. Outside combat, Inaba’s nostalgic locations will be brought back with modern visuals, from clear blue skies to riversides at sunset and rain-soaked streets.

Pre-orders include physical and digital Standard Editions, a Digital Deluxe Edition, a Digital Premium Edition, and a physical Collector’s Edition. The higher digital tiers add outfit sets, Persona sets, and background music connected to Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Royal. The Collector’s Edition includes the base game, an artbook, SteelBook, keycaps and keychain, a protagonist and Izanagi statue, and downloadable content. ATLUS will also host a Persona 4 Revival TV special to share more about the story, characters, and new elements before launch.
