Square Enix has confirmed the platforms for Kingdom Hearts IV. The new installment in the action RPG series will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. All versions are planned to launch at the same time, although a release date has not been announced yet.
Kingdom Hearts IV will once again follow Sora, alongside some familiar characters, as he travels through the mysterious city of Quadratum. That location remains one of the central elements of the new chapter and appears to mark a different phase for the series. The journey will not be limited to Quadratum, however, as Sora will also travel to various worlds, meet new figures, and awaken new powers along the way.
Square Enix is still keeping many details back for a later reveal.
