The Crew Motorfest is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8, 2026, bringing Ubisoft and Ubisoft Ivory Tower’s open-world racer to Nintendo’s new system. The game is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Ubisoft Store, following its original launch on September 14, 2023.
The Switch 2 physical edition will ship on a game-key card, a practical detail for players looking at the retail version. The core of Motorfest remains its Hawaiian setting, with the island of O‘ahu used as an open driving playground that moves between Honolulu, coastal roads, off-road routes, volcanic slopes, and tracks built for high-speed racing.
Progression is built around playlists, themed campaigns that cover different parts of car culture. The game moves from American muscle to Japanese-style street racing and legendary machines from the past, giving each activity a clear identity. Winning challenges feeds into a broader vehicle collection, while customization and contest features give players room to shape how their cars are seen.
The Crew Motorfest also leans on competitive events beyond standard races. Grand Race puts drivers against 28 other competitors in high-energy events, while Demolition Royale shifts the focus to team-based chaos, with eight teams fighting to stay in the match. Summit Clash adds leaderboard-driven challenges for players who want a more structured competitive target.
On Switch 2, the release gives the console another large-scale racing option built around free exploration, live events, and online competition. For players jumping in at launch, the package combines O‘ahu’s tropical backdrop, a growing garage, themed campaigns, special challenges, and competitive modes that push the game beyond a simple sequence of races.
A five-hour free trial is also part of the offering, giving new players a way to sample the handling, event flow, and festival structure before committing more time to the full open-world experience.
