Duskfade will launch on August 13, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2, bringing Weird Beluga and Fireshine Games’ painterly 3D action-platformer to a clockpunk world. The game is now available to wishlist on PC and to pre-order on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch 2 for $29.99, €29.99, and £24.99, with a 20 percent pre-order discount across consoles. A demo is also available now on PlayStation and Xbox.

The story follows Zirian, a young hero trapped in a land locked in eternal night. His sister is held inside a mysterious Clock Tower, sending him across dangerous regions with his loyal companion Cuckoo. The official website for Duskfade presents the adventure as a love letter to classic 3D action platformers, built around wonder, loss, courage, and the challenge of facing the unknown.
Gameplay is centered on movement, precision, and action combat. Zirian can slash, grind, jump, and grapple through levels designed to echo classic platforming while pushing the pace with modern traversal. The journey spans ethereal forests, underwater realms, and other dangerous locations filled with secrets, charming characters, and hazards. Each area introduces new challenges, asking players to master timing and control as exploration, combat, and boss encounters start to overlap.
Beneath its whimsical surface, Duskfade frames the adventure as a coming-of-age story with emotional weight. Every enemy and challenge represents a deeper hurdle Zirian has to overcome as he tries to save his sister and break the curse tied to the Master Clockmakers and Despair. Weird Beluga comes to the project after Clid the Snail, while Fireshine Games adds another indie release to a catalog focused on distinctive games. For platformer fans, Duskfade is built around nostalgia, action, heartfelt storytelling, and a highly recognizable art direction.
