The PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for August 2026 will be available from August 4 for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers. This month includes Big Walk for PlayStation 5, Dying Light 2: Stay Human Reloaded Edition for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, and Signalis for PlayStation 4. The selection moves across three very different moods: relaxed social co-op, post-apocalyptic survival action, and retrotech psychological horror.
Big Walk is the most unusual game in the group. The cooperative multiplayer adventure is built around exploration, teamwork, and communication between friends, sending players into a wide-open world filled with challenges, puzzles, and small discoveries. Its appeal is not limited to solving objectives. The game also leaves room for hanging out, finding strange ways to stay in contact, getting lost together, watching the sunset, or turning a quiet walk into friendly chaos.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human Reloaded Edition gives the month its biggest action entry. The game follows Aiden Caldwell through The City, a hostile post-apocalyptic environment shaped by rival factions, infected monsters, and secrets tied to his past. Parkour, melee combat, exploration, story choices, and four-player co-op define the experience. For subscribers looking for a longer and more aggressive game to claim, it is the largest release in August’s Essential trio.
Signalis closes the lineup with a much darker tone. The survival horror follows Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost partner inside a surreal world of cosmic dread, melancholy, and retrotech machinery. Puzzles, nightmarish creatures, and classic psychological horror give it a very different identity from the other two games. Starting August 16, all PlayStation Plus members can also claim the MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack, including character-inspired avatars and result screen poses for 20 fighters.
