Attack on Titan 3 will launch on December 10, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Koei Tecmo and Omega Force confirmed the date alongside a new gameplay trailer, with pre-orders now open on every platform except Switch 2, where they will begin later. The third game brings together the complete Attack on Titan story, covering its beginning through its conclusion while rebuilding memorable scenes from previous entries and adding original narrative developments. The Nine Titans will also appear in battle for the first time in the game series.
The Standard Edition is priced at €69.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs €89.99. The latter includes 72 hours of early access, which is not available on Switch 2, a digital art book, three costumes, seven character creation parts, thirteen original equipment parts, and a starter item pack. A SteelBook Launch Edition will also include a metal case, reversible ICONART print, and cosmetic items. Omni-directional mobility has been upgraded to provide greater freedom in the air and more responsive movement during combat. Titans will behave in more varied and unpredictable ways, introducing attacks that force players to read their movements while rapidly changing direction, distance, and target. The aim is to make each confrontation more flexible without losing the speed associated with the Scout Regiment’s equipment. Simple controls will also be available, allowing players with less action game experience to perform advanced-looking aerial maneuvers more easily.
Special Exterior Missions are another major addition, taking player-built squads into the vast and dangerous territories beyond the Walls. After choosing their companions, players will act as squad leader and decide whether to advance or retreat when confronted by overwhelming groups of Titans. Rebuilt historical scenes, new story developments, and battles against the Nine Titans position the game as the culmination of Omega Force’s series. Players with save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle will also receive a special in-game gift, with its contents to be revealed later.
