Bringer brings party-switching fantasy action to Gamescom 2026

YHKT ENTERTAINMENT has announced Bringer, a new narrative-driven fantasy action RPG coming to PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile. The project debuted alongside its first trailer and will make its public playable debut at Gamescom 2026, where attendees can try an early demo in Hall 10.1, Booth E053. No release window has been announced yet, but the Cologne event will provide the first hands-on opportunity to experience its combat, exploration, and cinematic presentation.

Bringer takes place in an original fantasy world shaped by ancient civilizations, competing factions, and colossal living creatures. Two central parts of its lore are the “Thalassa” and the Arkiloth, enormous lifeforms connected to the mysteries buried throughout the setting. Players control a traveler carrying a hidden secret, gradually becoming involved in conflicts between different powers while uncovering truths about the world and its past.

Combat is built around fast real-time action and allows players to switch seamlessly between party members during battles. Different weapon modules provide additional options, while parries, dodges, and finishers add a tactical layer to more intense encounters. The broader structure is designed to keep combat, exploration, and story sequences closely connected rather than separating them into clearly divided sections.

The narrative is also meant to remain interactive rather than relying entirely on pre-rendered cinematics. Bringer is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, combining 3D environments, expressive character performances, visual effects, and interactive sequences with player agency. The official website for Bringer provides access to the reveal material and future updates about the project.

Bringer also marks YHKT ENTERTAINMENT’s move into large-scale action RPG development after years working in animation and digital content. Founded in 2015, the Chinese studio is known for the animated series Ling Cage and is bringing its experience with 3D production, cinematic presentation, and worldbuilding into an interactive format. Its Gamescom demo will focus on responsive combat, visual presentation, and the way storytelling flows directly through gameplay.
