A forbidden ritual tears them away from their shrine and throws them into a nightmare world of whispering forests, forsaken villages and forgotten temples, where old folklore has taken a hostile, physical form.
Kumarn is not built around direct combat. Survival depends on staying hidden, moving carefully and finding safe routes through places watched by twisted creatures and restless ghosts. Players need to use shadows, distractions and environmental problem-solving to escape beings far stronger than themselves.
