Greak 2: Alliance of the Storms has been announced for 2027 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. The new game from Navegante and Team17 returns to the hand-drawn world of Greak: Memories of Azur, while reshaping the adventure around a metroidvania structure built for both solo play and local or online co-op.
The story brings back Greak and Adara after their escape from their homeland. The siblings arrive in Synoraz, a hostile and unexplored land, only for a ruthless sorcerer to split them across parallel dimensions. From there, they must keep moving through separate realities, working toward the same mission while trying to survive and find their way back to the Courines.
The dimensional split is more than a story device. Greak and Adara can follow different paths, interact with different objects and fight enemies that exist only in their own reality. In co-op, each player controls one sibling and coordination becomes the key to solving puzzles and moving forward. In solo play, players can switch seamlessly between the two characters, keeping that cooperative logic intact even without a second player.
The adventure is still built around interconnected exploration, new synergetic abilities, hidden routes and revisiting areas with fresh tools. Synoraz is filled with magic-infused straw creatures, parallel-dimension hazards and a new mission tied to the Storm Eagles, a legendary species on the edge of extinction. Earning Jerido’s trust and rescuing the last Storm Egg will be part of the fight against the ruthless Ilikun.
