Marked for Mayhem mixes dungeon action with multiplayer rivalry on PC

Marked for Mayhem is a new multiplayer action dungeon runner announced by Bladework Games for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. A release date has not been announced yet, but sign-ups are already open for a limited beta test. Its central idea combines cooperation, fast combat, and competition, asking players to complete the same mission while still fighting for the top position.

Operators travel across shattered dimensions to face the most dangerous enemies of Galus, powerful bosses, and chaotic challenges. During each run, players earn medals and shape their build as they go, choosing between weapons, abilities, and modifiers. The structure is therefore built around adapting to what appears during a run and experimenting with different combinations rather than relying on one fixed setup.

The competitive side becomes especially important through Disruptors. These abilities can be unleashed against enemies, but they can also sabotage other Operators, steal points, and disrupt the leaderboard when a rival starts pulling ahead. Boss encounters feed back into progression as well, with players able to harness the power of defeated threats.

The wider structure takes the form of an interdimensional combat tournament, where enemies, ArenaGames, and other challenges become opportunities to earn more medals and climb the rankings. Bladework Games also plans to expand the online multiplayer experience after launch with additional enemies, biomes, weapons, and Disruptors.

Players looking to track upcoming computer releases can use the Playority PC Calendar, where games can be saved to a personal account for customized notifications and updates on release dates, availability, and new information.
