Mycopunk will leave Early Access on October 20, bringing its mission-based cooperative first-person shooting to PC and PlayStation 5. The PC version will be available through Steam for $14.99, while the PS5 release will join the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on day one. For a game built around noisy squads and fast experimentation, that launch puts it in front of co-op players across both platforms.

Pigeons at Play is developing the shooter, with Devolver Digital handling publishing. Mycopunk first arrived in PC Early Access on July 10, 2025, and the 1.0 release keeps the focus on repeatable missions, strange gadgets and loadouts that can be pushed into messy combinations when a squad starts stacking upgraded abilities and customized weapons.
The setup follows the New Atlas Hazard Crew, a group of oddball robot exterminators hired by SAXON after a fungal disaster takes over a planet. Missions send the crew into hostile zones to push back the infestation, with enemies able to corrupt and weaponize technology around them. The combat is built around taking enemies apart piece by piece, then dealing with whatever the battlefield throws back at the team.
Between missions, players can return to an orbital dropship filled with toys, games and room to learn more about the galaxy, including Roachard Cox, SAXON’s insectoid veteran. Players tracking the release can add Mycopunk to the Playority Calendar to follow it from their account and get personalized notifications and updates around launch.
