Queen’s Domain launches October 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. The console versions have been announced alongside the release date. Developed by Freshly Baked Games and published by Future Friends Games, it is a retro-styled first-person fantasy action RPG inspired by King’s Field.

The journey begins after the protagonist washes up on the shores of the Isle of Neasied. Searching for their father leads them through an interconnected, labyrinthine world with hidden routes and dangers. The Legendary Holy Sword Endu is more than a combat tool: it lets players fly between platforms. Upgrading it increases the distance they can cover, opening more ways to move through the island.
Combat involves managing stamina, charging attacks and using special moves tied to individual weapons. Secondary throwing weapons provide another option when facing different threats. There are more than 50 melee weapons to find, equip and upgrade, as well as over 20 types of throwing weapons. Players can spend experience to level up and eat food to raise their stats further, shaping their character as the journey continues.
The island contains more than 100 enemies, mini bosses and bosses, with dozens of hours of exploration and combat planned. Its structure connects discovery to progression: searching unfamiliar paths can reveal weapons and upgrades, while a stronger sword expands the areas players can reach. On October 30, that adventure will be available on PC and all three newly announced console platforms.
