Appulse blends pinball and shooting, launches November 26

Appulse launches on November 26, 2026, for PC via Steam. Publisher Raw Fury and developer Le Rado have announced the release date for their roguelite combining pinball, top-down shooting, and space combat. Instead of controlling a conventional character, players guide an armed ball, using each gunshot both to fight enemies and to influence its movement across the board.

Traditional pinball flippers send the ball across the playfield, but weapon recoil provides another way to steer it. Every shot pushes the ball in the opposite direction, allowing players to correct a trajectory after a bounce, reach different areas, and chain offensive maneuvers together. Progress depends on mastering the relationship between flippers and firearms, using the layout of each board to move deliberately and collect rewards along the way.

The roguelite structure introduces perks that change the way each run plays out. Some upgrades increase the force of recoil, while others strengthen close-range collisions against enemies. Players can also slow down time to set up combinations of movement and attacks. Experimenting with these different effects allows them to create personalized builds, while the scoring system encourages attempts to climb the leaderboard rather than simply clear an encounter.

The action takes place during an intergalactic war, with players assigned to defend the Vektor Dynamics fleet against the Iron Accord. An ejection cannon can launch them into enemy ships, while exploration brings special missions and additional challenges. Capturing new shuttles expands the fleet, giving the wider conflict a progression system beyond the action of an individual pinball board. The setting draws on space-opera themes, with hostile ships and unfamiliar territories forming the backdrop to each mission.

A demo of Appulse is already available on Steam for anyone who wants to test the combination of pinball movement and shooting before launch. Players following upcoming computer releases can also use the Playority release calendar to keep track of the game, add upcoming titles to their lists, and receive updates about releases they are interested in.
