Baptiste will launch this fall for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. Developed by Digital Dreams and Firenut Games, with Firenut Games also publishing, the psychological horror game builds its first-person story around grief, family trauma and a reality that becomes harder to trust with every step.
The story follows Tom, a young man still marked by tragedy, who is pulled into a nightmare after freeing an unsettling doll from its glass case. Tom and his mother Sara move to Jagged Shore Cliff in search of a fresh start, but their new home quickly turns into something far more hostile. Inside a dusty cabinet waits Baptiste, along with a warning that leaves little room for doubt: the doll should never be released from its glass prison.
The game is not framed around simple jump scares. Baptiste focuses on atmosphere, exploration and environmental storytelling, asking players to move through an oppressive mansion, collect clues, solve puzzles and uncover the dark secrets connected to the living doll. As the journey continues, the line between reality and nightmare begins to collapse, mirroring a fragile mind under extreme emotional pressure.
The horror draws from classic stories about allegedly possessed dolls and psychological horror games such as P.T., Layers of Fear and Outlast.
