Daba: Land of Water Scar will launch in spring 2027 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The action RPG from Dark Star, supported by the PlayStation China Hero Project, will be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, confirming a notable dual release: it remains tied to the PlayStation ecosystem, but will also be available on PC from day one.
The game is set in a dried-out world where the Sky-Pillars have collapsed and water has become the center of a land close to death. The protagonist is Adan, a Clayman who should never have awakened, forced to cross ruined snowfields and parched deserts while Soul Fragments of fallen gods scatter through the world and the Purple Plague keeps spreading.
The story appears to move through dark fantasy shaped by forced destiny, ambition and manipulation. Some people see Adan as a savior, others want to use him, and others only want destruction through his hands. An ancient mask and twin blades define a journey where seizing water also means reforging the soul.
The new trailer arrives alongside the release window and places Daba: Land of Water Scar among the action RPGs to watch in 2027, especially for players following projects born through the China Hero Project program.
