DERELIKT launches for PC via Steam on November 13, 2026, publisher Hyperstrange and developer Visuwyg have announced. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions are also planned, although neither console release has been dated yet. The game is a narrative first-person shooter that draws heavily on late-1990s science-fiction survival horror.

The setting is Von Neumann Outpost, a remote research station built into a derelict asteroid orbiting Saturn. Its systems are failing, much of the facility is dark, and the remaining survivors disagree about what happened. Players will search through corridors, laboratories, and crew quarters for supplies, solve environmental puzzles, and unlock routes leading deeper into the station.
Inspired by System Shock 2, Alien Resurrection, and DOOM 3, DERELIKT combines shooting with the pressure of limited resources. Its arsenal includes conventional and alien weapons, but ammunition, health, and inventory capacity all need to be managed. Rather than encouraging players to clear every room without hesitation, the design puts weight on deciding when a fight is worth the cost.
The station is not entirely deserted. More than a dozen NPCs remain aboard, each with personal motives, secrets, and potentially conflicting accounts. Some may offer help, while others could become a threat. Visually, the game embraces early 3D horror through warped geometry, PlayStation-style texture distortion, hand-painted vertex colors, and full-motion CGI cutscenes. The period-inspired presentation is paired with modern controls and quality-of-life improvements, aiming to retain the uneasy atmosphere of its influences without reproducing all their limitations.
