Kusan: City of Wolves gets a release date for July 30, 2026

Kusan: City of Wolves is set to launch on July 30, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC via Steam. The date matters because it turns the game from an upcoming project into something with a fixed place on the calendar, especially for players interested in hardcore action and score-focused shooters. There is no longer any ambiguity about when it arrives.

A demo is already available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC, with a Switch demo due soon. That gives players a chance to test the pace, the handling and the overall combat structure before release, which is especially relevant for a game built around precision and fast decision-making.

Developed by CIRCLEfromDOT and published by PQube, Kusan: City of Wolves is a hardcore top-down shooter set in a violent, corruption-ridden city. The setup leans on tight arena combat where movement, aim and timing all matter. It is the kind of game where mistakes are meant to be punished immediately, so the release date is only one part of the story; the other is the clear expectation of demanding gameplay.

There is also more structure here than a straightforward run-and-gun setup. The game features 54 stages spread across multiple chapters, skill-based challenges, S-ranks and boss fights with distinct patterns. That combination suggests a design built for replaying stages, improving routes and chasing cleaner performances rather than simply clearing the campaign once and moving on.

Progression is tied to Bolts, the War Hand, firearms and blades, giving players room to tailor their loadout as they move through the campaign. The game’s presentation also stands out: comic-panel storytelling, a rain-soaked pixel-art city and a soundtrack by Korean hip-hop artist Loptimist all help reinforce the tone without changing the core fact that this is a precision-driven shooter first and foremost.

The story follows Jin, a former soldier turned gun-for-hire, as he gets pulled into a conflict involving Haru, a girl linked to a city-grade atomic weapon. That premise gives the game a stronger narrative hook than a standard revenge setup, and it also explains why the city itself feels central to the action. Everyone wants something, nobody plays fair, and Jin is caught in the middle of a conspiracy that could shift the balance of power.

Supported languages include English, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Japanese, Italian, German, Spanish, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. With the date now locked in, the demo already live on several platforms and the full language list confirmed, Kusan: City of Wolves is entering the final stretch before launch.
