Photo Roboto: A Timesnap Adventure has been announced for PC, with a Steam release planned for 2027. The new game from Australia-based Monomyth Games takes the studio in a different direction, focusing on a cozy photography adventure built around a Timewarp Camera that can capture the present, the past, the future and other strange points in time.

The story follows Peppino, a little robot who dreams of earning his Timewarp Camera License and becoming a master photographer. Together with his best friends Sophia and Marco, Peppino sets up a photography business on the vibrant Italian island of Pallacanezza, where humans and robots live side by side and every local problem can become a new photo job.
The island’s quiet rhythm changes when the mayor closes Pallacanezza because of a mysterious Curse. That decision threatens Peppino’s business and the island’s future ahead of the big tourist summer, pushing players into an adventure about helping locals, investigating secrets and finding creative ways to use the Timewarp Camera beyond simple snapshots.
Exploration is built around moving freely through the island at a relaxed pace. Players can stroll, run, jump and travel by boat across several distinct districts, from Roman ruins and sunny beaches to leafy trails and hidden coves. Each area can lead to new customers, hidden stories, unusual requests or opportunities to keep the shop’s star rating high.
Progression comes through new camera lenses, shop upgrades, personal customization and a fully scripted narrative about the island’s mysterious past. Photo Roboto will also feature more than 100 unique characters, with each person or robot tied to their own story. The result is a gentle adventure about photography, time, community and the small surprises waiting behind the next picture.
