Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for September 2026, with all titles available from September 1 for Essential subscribers. The selection includes four very different games: Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes. It is a broad month, covering tactical stealth, baseball, co-op sandbox play and 16-bit-style JRPG adventure.
Sniper Elite: Resistance will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game shifts the series toward a hidden war inside occupied France, with a story running parallel to Sniper Elite 5. It brings back long-range sniping, stealth and tactical third-person combat, while also offering a co-op campaign, Axis Invasion, competitive online battles for up to 16 players and a Survival mode for up to four players.
MLB The Show 26 joins the lineup on PlayStation 5. The baseball sim includes Road To The Show, Diamond Dynasty and career progression built around the MLB Draft Combine and additional college teams. PlayStation Plus members also get the MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle, which includes packs and items designed to help customize a Road To The Show player and start building a Diamond Dynasty squad.
Wobbly Life will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4, adding a lighter open-world sandbox option to the month. Players can explore alone, in online co-op or in local split-screen with up to four players. The island is filled with interactive objects, story missions, puzzles, toys, secrets and Arcade modes such as Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run and Sandbox.
Chained Echoes rounds out the lineup on PlayStation 4. The single-player JRPG follows a group of heroes across Valandis, a vast continent caught in a war between three kingdoms. Its world mixes classic fantasy, dragons and pilotable Mechs, while the journey moves through wind-tanned plateaus, exotic archipelagos, sunken cities and forgotten dungeons with swords, magic and mechanical firepower.
