The project takes the franchise in a darker and more intimate direction, focusing on exploration, survival, and mental tension rather than a traditional space adventure. Its setting is a mysterious, uncharted planet dominated by a hostile consciousness that can turn the landscape itself into a constant threat.
The protagonist is Ro Laren, the former lieutenant voiced by Michelle Forbes, who sets out to rescue an old friend. After crashing on this distant world, Ro finds herself trapped in an environment that is beautiful, alien, and lethal. Her journey is not only about staying alive. The more she uncovers, the deeper the planet pushes into her memories, dragging her through a corrupted labyrinth where visions, guilt, and reality begin to collapse into one another.
The game is being presented as a mature, story-driven third-person action adventure.
