SURI: The Seventh Note will launch on October 30 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, priced at €19.99. Developed by Tathvamasi and supported by the PlayStation India Hero Project, the rhythm action platformer builds its movement, combat, and audiovisual presentation around the beat. PlayStation Store pre-orders are already available with a 20 percent discount, reducing the standard edition to €15.99 before release. The release date announcement is also accompanied by a new trailer showcasing the game ahead of its late-October debut on both supported platforms.

The story follows Ajira, a young girl racing to save her mother from a dark sickness. Her search for a cure leads her to a magical fruit hidden somewhere on an island affected by a corrupting rhythm. Progress is closely tied to mastering that rhythm and using its power against the force spreading through the island. The world itself shifts and reacts to each note, connecting the musical mechanics directly with the game’s narrative premise rather than treating rhythm as a separate layer.
A major part of the experience is Tathvamasi’s Rhythm Haptics Engine. The technology is designed to make each track something players can hear, see, and physically feel through haptic feedback. Haptics will also be supported on PC, but the PlayStation 5 version expands the idea through the DualSense controller. Different sensations are intended to represent both softer musical passages and the heavier impact of the corrupted beat, making physical feedback part of how the soundtrack is communicated to the player.
The visual direction also draws from Indian art and architecture, including influences ranging from Rajput forts to the vivid energy of Theyyam culture. Alongside the standard edition, SURI: The Seventh Note will receive a Digital Deluxe Edition priced at €24.99. It includes three days of early access beginning on October 27, an exclusive Chandini skin, and entitlement to upcoming downloadable content. The Deluxe Edition is also included in the pre-order promotion, bringing its price down to €19.99 ahead of launch.
