Frontier Foundry and Complex Games have announced Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Deathwatch, a direct sequel to Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters. It is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, with Steam and Epic Games Store versions confirmed. No release date has been announced yet.

The new chapter keeps the turn-based tactical RPG structure while expanding class identity, squad composition, and mission variety. New battlefield assets include the Redemptor Dreadnought, Scout Sentinel, and Leman Russ, giving the Deathwatch more ways to shape each engagement and build a squad around specific mission needs.
The campaign sends the Deathwatch into the Tyrian expanse against Genestealer Hivecults, Orks, T’au, and the forces of Chaos. Combat is built around positioning, timing, squad synergy, terrain use, and seven distinct enemy factions, while customization covers classes, weapons, abilities, and Chapter choices. Skirmish Mode is also included for standalone battles and custom Kill Team setups.
As a sequel, Chaos Gate – Deathwatch appears designed to broaden the tactical options of Daemonhunters rather than replace them. The announcement focuses on clearer squad-building choices, a wider set of missions, and more battlefield tools, but launch timing and language support remain unconfirmed.
