Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the June 2026 Game Catalog lineup for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, along with a new Classics Catalog title for Premium members. The update is notable not only for the games included, but also for how Sony is handling availability in selected markets. After previous catalog updates usually arrived on a single date, the company is now testing a staggered rollout in some regions. The first addition is Sonic X Shadow Generations, available from June 10 in the United States and United Kingdom and June 11 in Japan for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The package includes a complete Shadow campaign, where Black Doom returns to threaten the world and forces Shadow to confront his past, face familiar enemies, and unlock new powers. It also includes a remastered version of Sonic Generations, bringing back classic 2D and 3D stages with upgraded visuals and bonus content.<\/p>\n
Final Fantasy XVI joins the catalog globally on June 16 for PlayStation 5. The 16th mainline entry in Square Enix\u2019s long-running series brings a darker tone to the RPG franchise, focusing on revenge, power struggles, tragedy, and the fate of Valisthea. Players follow Clive Rosfield, First Shield of Rosaria and guardian of his younger brother Joshua, the Dominant of the Eikon Phoenix. With its action RPG structure and spectacular Eikonic powers, Final Fantasy XVI is the headline addition for players looking for a major single-player release in this month\u2019s catalog.<\/p>\n
On June 23 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan, the lineup expands with Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Life is Strange: Double Exposure. Kingdom Come: Deliverance brings Henry\u2019s story back from the beginning, placing players in medieval Bohemia after the destruction of his family and village during a brutal civil war. The PlayStation 5 version includes visual upgrades such as 4K resolution, improved frame rate, and high-resolution textures. Life is Strange: Double Exposure follows Max Caulfield in a new mystery at Caledon University, where the death of her friend Safi leads to a parallel timeline and another dangerous investigation.<\/p>\n
June 30 adds Black Desert, Blades of Fire, and Farming Simulator 25 to the Game Catalog, all for PlayStation 5. Black Desert offers open-world MMORPG play with combat, siege wars, exploration, guild conflict, and life-skill systems including trade, fishing, horse training, alchemy, cooking, and gathering. Blades of Fire focuses on Aran de Lira, the last warrior able to forge true steel in a world where metal has turned to stone, with deliberate combat where positioning, patience, and weapon crafting matter. Farming Simulator 25 adds new crops such as rice and spinach, new environments across East Asia, North America, and Central Europe, production chains, construction missions, and more than 400 authentic machines.<\/p>\n
Premium subscribers also get Gitaroo Man through the Classics Catalog on June 16 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The PlayStation 2 rhythm game returns on modern PlayStation consoles with U-1, the mythical Gitaroo, its music-powered battles, classic soundtrack, and colorful designs by Japanese illustrator 326.
