Players will need to build defenses, organize units, and react to dynamic battlefield events that can change the direction of a fight. Bosses will become a major part of the more difficult stages, requiring changes in positioning, army composition, and tactical priorities. After completing the 12-wave structure, players will also be able to take on an Endless Mode built for those who want to continue defending beyond the main format.<\/p>\n<p>Final Stand will feature five battlegrounds designed specifically for wave defense and eight difficulty levels, ranging from more approachable settings to challenges aimed at veterans. Four classic factions from the series will be available: United States Forces, Wehrmacht, British Forces, and Deutsches Afrikakorps. Each faction will have its own progression tree, with upgrades capable of meaningfully changing unit behavior and the overall way a match can be approached.<\/p>\n<p>The roguelite layer begins with building a customized battlegroup. After every wave, players will choose from randomized units and abilities that remain active for the duration of a run. This structure is meant to make each attempt feel different, forcing players to rethink their plans around the options available instead of relying on the same setup every time. Between runs, players can unlock perks, unique abilities, and persistent faction-specific upgrades that expand long-term strategic possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>The package includes 36 boss units with special abilities and rewards, alongside 18 dynamic events designed to make the battlefield less predictable. Four premium cosmetic skin packs, one for each faction, and new announcer voice-over performances created for Final Stand are also planned. With this standalone mode, Company of Heroes 3 shifts its focus away from a traditional campaign structure and toward shorter, highly replayable matches built around one question: how long can a
