After a mafia heist goes wrong, Redline loses everything, including her brother, and fights back with Spine, a sentient combat implant with a mind of its own. The city is split between the gleaming New City above and the decaying Old City below, while the Social Rating decides who eats, works and gets discarded.<\/p>\n<p>The new trailer introduces Judge, Tensor City\u2019s supreme leader, alongside Tensor\u2019s Children, Edda Kopp and Malady, all equipped with Spines of their own. It also shows directional attacks, parries, dodges, environmental strikes and several bosses, moving through tangled underground laboratories, the cliffs of the City\u2019s Greenhouse and a fight on top of a high-speed train.<\/p>\n<p>Combat is the core of SPINE\u2019s identity. Nekki describes it as Freeflow Gun Fu, where firearms, melee strikes, movement and dynamic camera work combine without taking control away from the player. The fight choreography is being shaped with help from action movie stunt specialists, while the game runs on Unreal Engine 5 and Nekki\u2019s Cascadeur animation engine to make each encounter feel
