Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced the April 2026 lineup for PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on Extra and Premium, along with the Classics Catalog additions for Premium subscribers. All of the listed titles unlock on April 21.
This month’s update is broad rather than centered on one headline release. The lineup mixes narrative horror, racing, sports management, strategy, roguelite action and a classic PS2-era RPG, giving Extra and Premium subscribers a varied selection across PS5 and PS4.
The Casting of Frank Stone brings Supermassive Games’ story-driven horror to PS5 through the Dead by Daylight universe. The game is built around player choice, with decisions shaping the fate of the cast and the direction of the story. It is the kind of addition that fits PlayStation Plus well because it offers a self-contained campaign and a clear genre identity.
The Crew Motorfest joins the service on PS5 and PS4 as an open-world racing game set in Hawaii. Players can drive across city streets, rainforest trails, mountain roads and volcanic slopes while switching between a wide range of vehicles and event types. Its inclusion on both consoles makes it one of the most accessible additions in the April lineup.
Football Manager 26 Console is another notable arrival, especially for players who prefer management over direct control. On PS5, Sony highlights upgraded matchday visuals, refreshed motion capture, volumetric animations and new controller shortcuts between highlights. The biggest series-first detail is the fully licensed Premier League, which gives the game a more authentic presentation for English football fans.
Other Game Catalog additions include Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Monster Train, Squirrel with a Gun and Warriors: Abyss. Horizon comes with an important platform split: the remastered version is available on PS5, while PS4 players receive Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition instead. That distinction matters because the catalog entry is not identical across both systems.
Monster Train adds a tactical roguelike deckbuilder built around defending three vertical battlefields at once. The game includes six monster clans, more than 280 cards and 25 covenant difficulty levels, making it one of the more systems-heavy titles in the lineup. For subscribers who like replayable strategy games, it is a strong fit for the service.
Squirrel with a Gun shifts the tone completely with a sandbox shooter and puzzle platformer about a squirrel causing chaos in pursuit of golden acorns. Warriors: Abyss rounds out the selection with an action roguelite built around more than 100 playable heroes, large-scale enemy waves and party-building through unique character traits. Together, the two games add a lighter, more experimental side to the month’s catalog.
Premium subscribers also get Wild Arms 4 in the Classics Catalog on PS5 and PS4. Sony says the PS2-era RPG includes up-rendering, rewind, quick save and custom video filters, which makes it easier to revisit without losing the feel of the original release. For players interested in older PlayStation titles, it is the clearest nostalgia-focused addition in the April update.
Overall, the April 2026 PlayStation Plus lineup is defined by variety rather than a single marquee launch. It gives Extra and Premium members a mix of newer releases, genre standouts and one classic revival, with the full selection going live on April 21.
