Comix Zero

COMIX ZERO — STEP INTO A LIVING COMIC BOOK

Zero is an ordinary guy from Earth who one day finds himself trapped in a brutal dark fantasy world.

Here, people can be far more vile than monsters, drawing comes at a terrible price, and war and the struggle for survival are part of everyday life.

So forget about becoming some great hero.

First, you’ll need to survive, figure out what the hell Zero is doing here, and find a way back home.

THIS ISN’T A COMIC ABOUT A GAME. THIS IS A GAME INSIDE A COMIC.

Comix Zero is a COMIXVANIA that combines exploration, combat, and RPG mechanics inside a living comic book.

The world is literally built from pages and panels.

Every panel can become a new location, battle arena, dialogue scene, or part of the story. Zero moves between panels, jumps across their borders, smashes through frames, and discovers secrets hidden where the artwork usually ends.

The page isn’t just decoration. The page is the game.

LOSE HEALTH — LOSE COLOR

In Comix Zero, even your health follows the rules of a comic book.

Whenever Zero takes damage, he gradually loses his color.

The more punishment he takes, the more paint disappears from his body until he becomes little more than a black-and-white sketch.

In this world, color isn’t just part of the visual style.

Color is life.

FIGHT AND EXPLORE

Combine attacks, use different weapons, take on groups of enemies, and develop your own playstyle.

But remember: your gear won’t last forever.

Weapons wear down and break, so you’ll need to maintain them, repair them, or find replacements.

The world is also open to exploration. Return to familiar places, discover hidden paths, uncover secrets, and find new adventures.

TALK TO THE ONES WHO AREN’T TRYING TO KILL YOU

The world of Comix Zero is filled with characters who have their own goals, problems, and views on everything happening around them.

Talk to them, learn more about the world, take on quests, and decide who deserves your help.

And who you probably shouldn’t turn your back on.

Quests and dialogue are an important part of Zero’s journey — and one of the best ways to understand how this world really works.

THE REAL MONSTER HERE IS HUMAN

Comix Zero is a dark fantasy world where ancient myths collide with human greed, war, and the struggle for power.

Monsters are dangerous.

But people are often worse.

Different sides of the conflict have their own motives, allies, and enemies. Almost everyone is convinced they’re the one who’s right.

Zero, meanwhile, has no dreams of becoming some legendary savior.

He just wants to survive this mess and find a way home.

MAGIC HERE ISN’T FOR FAIRY TALES

Spells in this world aren’t created with pretty words and magic wands.

Human blood is used for drawing.

Sometimes human skin is involved too.

So if you were thinking about spending your vacation here, you may want to reconsider.

HAVEN’T YOU SEEN THIS SOMEWHERE BEFORE?

The world of Comix Zero is packed with references to Earth’s pop culture.

Mythology, movies, video games, anime, and other familiar things constantly find their way into characters, dialogue, and events.

Some references you’ll catch immediately.

Some will hit you a few minutes later.

And some will only make sense after that one friend spends half an hour explaining why they were funny.
