Il protagonista Gareth Morgan torna nell&#8217;orfanotrofio dove \u00e8 cresciuto per cercare la sorella minore Elin. L&#8217;edificio, per\u00f2, \u00e8 ormai sotto il controllo di Sorella Gwenllian, che ha trasformato gli ex orfani in seguaci di un culto legato al misterioso Canto della Sirena.<\/p>\n<p>La principale minaccia \u00e8 rappresentata dagli Uditori, creature diventate cieche sotto le cure di Gwenllian e capaci di individuare le prede attraverso i rumori.
