007 First Light will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 18, 2027. Developer IO Interactive has confirmed the release date and opened pre-orders for the Nintendo version. The James Bond adventure originally launched on May 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The game presents a new origin story for Bond, following a young recruit who has yet to become the MI6 agent audiences know. After a heroic act, the naval air crewman joins the revived Double 0 program. A mission involving a rogue agent ends in tragedy, forcing him to work alongside his reluctant mentor, Greenway, to uncover a conspiracy and prevent a coup.
Players can approach missions in different ways, sneaking through guarded locations, using gadgets and deception to gain access, or turning to hand-to-hand combat and firearms. The adventure also features driving sequences and missions set across varied locations. Completed assignments can be replayed with additional modifiers, offering different challenges beyond the main story.
The Switch 2 edition arrives several months after the other versions, with pre-orders already available. Players can use the Playority release calendar to follow upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 games, keep track of release dates and save titles to their account.
