Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV is set to launch on PC via Steam on September 17, 2026. Deep Silver and KING Art also confirmed a Commander Edition, which unlocks the game three days earlier, on September 14, and adds the digital soundtrack plus access to two paid add-ons planned for later.

The practical difference is straightforward: one release date for the base game, and an early-access window for the Commander Edition.
The new entry returns the series to classic real-time strategy and centers on four playable factions: Space Marines, Orks, Necrons, and the Adeptus Mechanicus, which makes its series debut here. Each faction brings its own commanders, units, buildings, and mechanics, with dedicated campaigns that should make the opening choice matter from the start.
The campaign spans more than 70 missions and is joined by Last Stand, Skirmish, and multiplayer, including 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 matches. Supported languages also include Italian, alongside English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish. An asterisk marks languages with full audio support where available.
