Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential monthly games for June 2026. The lineup goes live on June 2 and includes Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. EA Sports FC 26 is still part of the May 2026 monthly lineup and remains available through June 16, so it does not rotate out at the start of the new month.
- Grounded Fully Yoked Edition: Obsidian’s survival game arrives on PS5 and PS4 in its updated edition, set in a backyard where ordinary objects become obstacles and tools for survival. The Fully Yoked Edition label indicates the complete version is included in the monthly lineup rather than a stripped-down release. Its structure revolves around exploration, crafting and co-op play, with a small-scale setting that turns everyday items into threats and resources.
- Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2: the crossover fighting game lands on PS5 and PS4 with Nickelodeon characters and a more direct approach than a traditional platform fighter. Otherwise, it joins the monthly lineup as a fast-paced fighter with a recognizable roster.
- Warhammer 40,000: Darktide: Fatshark’s co-op shooter joins the monthly selection on PS5. The game focuses on squad-based missions, close-quarters combat and team coordination in hostile environments, making it the most action-heavy pick in the June lineup. It rounds out the month with a different pace and structure from the other two titles.
Sony also confirmed Destiny 2: Legacy Collection for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on Extra and Premium. That addition is separate from the Essential monthly games and should be treated as a different part of the service. The collection will join the June Game Catalog, but the full catalog lineup will be announced later.
Overall, June brings three very different games plus a longer availability window for EA Sports FC 26. Grounded Fully Yoked Edition covers survival, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 covers crossover fighting and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide covers cooperative shooting.
For Essential subscribers, the main date to remember is June 2. That is when the three new monthly games become available, while EA Sports FC 26 stays claimable until June 16.
