Theos: Cities of Myth announced as a strategy city builder set in Ancient Greece

Triskell Interactive and Dotemu have announced Theos: Cities of Myth, a strategy city builder for PC Windows set in a reimagined Ancient Greece. The release date is still listed as coming soon, and Italian is among the supported languages. The game centers on building a polis devoted to one of seven Greek deities.

The chosen patron deity is not just a theme choice: it affects how the city grows and how buildings, services, and priorities are handled. The management layer covers roads, resources, markets, production and storage buildings, philosophy schools, theaters, and temples, with the goal of turning a small settlement into a larger metropolis that can attract historical and mythological figures.

The game also includes colonies beyond the main city and relationships with neighboring city-states, which can lead to alliances, trade, resource competition, or armed conflict. Each deity appears to steer a different path for the polis, from economic development to cultural influence or military strength. The project comes from Triskell Interactive, the team behind Pharaoh: A New Era, and is being published by Dotemu.

For now, there is no precise launch window, but the announcement already makes the structure clear: a classic city builder with a strong management focus and a mythological setting built around ancient Greek gods.
