WPCA: World Phasebound Control Authority has been announced for 2028 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. The new cooperative action game from 5minlab, published by KRAFTON, casts players as agents of the Seoul Branch of the World Phasebound Control Authority, an organization built to contain paranormal phenomena that have become monstrous, distorted threats.

The mission centers on Phasebound Horrors, anomalous entities that defy modern logic and physical reality. Each hunt pushes players into containment zones where oversized bosses, unpredictable behavior and aggressive attack patterns demand more than raw damage. Reading space, timing evasions and finding the right opening become just as important as having a powerful weapon.
The combat direction favors stylish impact over slow, heavy exchanges. Agents can unleash flashy maneuvers that tear through space and seize time, instantly exploit enemy weak points or pull massive leviathans into chosen positions to neutralize them. That makes WPCA feel less about fixed MMO-style roles and more about individual battlefield performance, even when three players are hunting together.
Progression is built around weapons, armor, skills, passive abilities and randomized gear options. Remnants collected from defeated monsters can be used to craft stronger Interferometer Weapons, while each loadout can combine different mechanics and change how players approach the next Phasebound. The game supports solo play and online co-op for up to three players, with the option to move between solo and cooperative hunting.
On Steam, WPCA is listed as an action RPG with single-player, online co-op and Family Sharing support. The PC requirements currently call for Windows 10 or 11, 16 GB of RAM, an SSD and 30 GB of available storage. Players who want to follow WPCA toward 2028 can use the Playority Calendar to save games to their account, receive notifications and keep personalized updates organized around release windows, platforms and PC or console availability.
