Hela: of Mice & Magic will launch on December 1, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC. The open-world adventure from Windup Games and Knights Peak will be available digitally across all platforms, while the physical release will be offered only through the Harmony Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X.

The game puts players in the role of a small but agile mouse helping a kind, cautious witch care for the land she has protected for generations. Its tone is closer to an exploratory fairy tale than a traditional action adventure, with folklore, quiet wonder, and natural spaces shaping the journey.
Exploration can be handled solo or in co-op, with forests, meadows, wetlands, and burrows forming the main environments. The witch’s enchanted backpack is a key tool, letting the mouse reach higher places, move deeper into the world, and interact with surroundings in new ways, including calmer moments built around observation and discovery.
The Harmony Edition gives the physical launch a collector’s angle. It includes the game, a digital soundtrack composed by Frida Johansson and Henrik Oja, a 48-page softcover art book with concept art, sketches, and inspirational photos, an additional outer box, a reversible poster featuring the game’s map, and a set of exclusive stickers.
Players tracking the end-of-year release window can add Hela: of Mice & Magic to the Playority Calendar, where upcoming games can be saved to a personal account for personalized updates on release timing, platforms, and availability when new details arrive.
