Brigandine: Abyss will bring its demo to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Switch 2 on July 30, 2026, following its PC debut on Steam. The fantasy war strategy RPG is developed by Adglobe and published by NIS America and Happinet. The PC version is planned for August 26, while the console versions will follow on August 27. The official website for Brigandine: Abyss remains the direct reference point for the project.
The demo includes the first two seasons of the Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will story campaigns. One side follows Largo as he investigates what is turning dragons into pawns of evil, while the other puts Garnet and her company against the Abyssloa Empire. Save data from the demo will not carry over to the full version.
The game is built around strategic management, territorial control and turn-based battles on a hexagonal grid. During the Organization Phase, players strengthen troops, recruit monsters, send units on quests and prepare the next offensive. The Invasion Phase then shifts the focus to combat, where enemy leaders can be targeted to force a retreat or opposing units can be defeated one by one.
The full release will let players choose one of six factions in Story Mode, each tied to the rebirth of the Abyssloa Empire, with the broader goal of taking control of the continent of Meltitea. Mission Mode expands the selection to 24 nations, each with its own win condition. On Steam, Brigandine: Abyss also supports single-player, achievements, Steam Cloud and family sharing.
