Corsair Cove launches on July 31 for PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. The pirate city builder from Hooded Horse and Limbic Entertainment also has a demo available now, giving players an early look at its core systems before the full release.

The game begins on a deserted island and asks you to build a settlement that can grow vertically, using cliffs and hilltops to connect buildings, storage areas, and production facilities. Its economy is built around more than 50 types of goods, from food to weapons, while the colony expands and the needs of the population become more demanding.
That management layer extends to ships, crews, and expeditions, with raids, island exploration, and resource gathering all tied to the growth of the settlement. As the colony develops, you also need to build more advanced vessels and keep morale high, since different crew roles require different supplies and services.
One of the game’s defining features is the freedom to build on uneven terrain, which makes logistics a central part of the experience. Bridges, pathways, and production chains have to work across different elevations and long distances, so moving goods and personnel efficiently becomes just as important as placing new structures.
Corsair Cove also adds open-sea threats and goals, including encounters with krakens, giant whales, and forces aligned with the Crown. The result is a strategy game that combines colony expansion, naval planning, and long-term resource management in a pirate setting.
