EA Sports College Football 27 will launch on July 9, 2026. The new entry in Electronic Arts’ sports series is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, with development handled by Tiburon. Pre-orders are already available across multiple editions, pairing the base game with mode-specific bonuses and, in some cases, a way to start playing before the official launch date.
The experience is built around the modern era of college football, where personal ambition sits alongside program pride. Dynasty Blueprint gives players control over the future of their team through Athletic Director Expectations, recruiting, NIL, staff, and facilities. Dynasty Points are used to shape the program’s direction, improve its foundation, and build a college football powerhouse capable of competing across seasons.
Road to Glory shifts the focus to a single athlete’s path. The mode includes new positions, deeper customization options, and player development shaped by decisions tied to NIL deals, the Heisman race, Draft Stock, and Legacy Score. Progression is not limited to raw ratings, because each choice also feeds into the identity and long-term legacy of the created player.
Mascot Mashup adds a more chaotic side to the package, centered on playable college mascots. Players can collect more than 120 oversized icons and bring them into 11-on-11 matchups filled with exaggerated celebrations and school-spirit antics. It sits beside the more structured Dynasty and Road to Glory modes as a louder, stranger take on the pageantry of game day.
The Standard Edition includes the game, one 81 OVR BND Cover Athlete Player Item chosen from three options, 100 Dynasty Coach Points, and 250 Road to Glory Skill Points. The Deluxe Edition adds three days of early access, exclusive early access Solo Challenges, and an 83 OVR BND Cornerstones player for pre-orders placed by June 16. The MVP Bundle combines the Deluxe Edition of College Football 27 with the Deluxe Edition of Madden NFL 27, adding points and player items tied to both Ultimate Team modes. Listed prices begin at $69.99, £69.99, and €79.99 for the Standard Edition, with higher tiers for Deluxe and MVP.
