Ember & Blade is no longer only a PC release. LINE Games Corporation’s survivors-like adventure is scheduled for 2026 on consoles as well, with PlayStation 5 already confirmed among the launch platforms. The PC version remains planned for Steam, while the additional console systems will be named in the coming months. The wider release puts the game in front of players looking for fast action, repeated runs and large-scale demon fights.

The story follows a demon hunter tied to temporary immortality through a pact with an angel. He enters the realm where the archdemon Asmodeus has been sealed for centuries and meets Ariella, the lone guardian of that seal. Their encounter links the hunter’s mission to Ariella’s tragic fate, framing the adventure around endless demons, a broken balance between divine and infernal forces, and the possibility of challenging destiny itself.
On the battlefield, Ember & Blade leans into survivors-like pacing, sending waves of enemies across chaotic arenas while each run pushes the pressure higher. Combat is built around sweeping attacks, positioning and the constant need to clear space before the horde closes in. Angelic blessings add another layer, letting players choose powers that shape evolving strategies and make each attempt feel different from the last.
Boss encounters are designed as more than interruptions between hordes. The Judicators of Fate are former mortals who sold their souls to become demons, now fighting with overwhelming power and dangerous attacks. Beating them requires timing, strategy and pattern reading rather than simple aggression. Death also feeds back into the structure, since resurrection opens another run, new secrets and another chance to bend the cycle.
The visual direction supports that loop with worlds shaped by divine fire and demonic corruption. Vibrant colors, sharp effects and distinct characters are meant to keep battles readable while giving the setting a darker fantasy identity. With console versions now part of the 2026 plan, Ember & Blade becomes a broader release for action fans to track, especially on PS5 while the remaining platforms stay unannounced.
