At the center of the game is a combat system that blends strategic turn-based battles with real-time timing. Attacks can be chained with precise inputs, while the party can shift between four active characters and four reserves to react to different encounters. Character abilities are not limited to combat either, since some of them are used to interact with the environment, clear obstacles and support exploration.

The story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity lives in flying cities above a surface overrun by mutated beasts. A group of young heroes is sent beyond the walls to protect humanity’s last refuge, only to uncover survivors, rival cities and secrets that challenge everything they believed. The setup draws on PS1-era JRPGs, but it frames those influences through a conflict-driven story about survival, loyalty and changing alliances.

So far, the game is also described as moving through ancient ruins, survivor settlements and untamed wilds. Taming creatures, salvaging tech and following hidden quests are part of the broader structure, giving the adventure a stronger focus on party growth and world exploration.
