Gundam Rogue Orbit will launch on March 5, 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. The new high-mobility action game from Bandai Namco Studios, published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, takes Gundam into an all-new universe with a cinematic story built around fast, hard-hitting and highly physical combat.

The protagonist is RE-X, the pilot chosen to step into the cockpit of Gundam Helix. Around him is a rag-tag crew of unsung soldiers, pushed into the role of humanity’s last hope against an unknown threat. Rather than continuing a familiar timeline, the game opens a new chapter designed for longtime Gundam fans and for players looking for a fresh entry point.
Gameplay focuses on fast and intense battles across sprawling environments, with enemy hordes, large-scale challenges and massive bosses to overcome while pushing the mobile suit to its limits. Combat appears to lean heavily into close-range impact, decisive action, timing, mastery and a more aggressive rhythm than a simple mecha shooter setup.
On Steam, Gundam Rogue Orbit is listed as a single-player experience with Family Sharing support, while PC requirements are still marked as to be announced. The game is already available for pre-purchase in standard and Deluxe Edition forms, and the new date arrives with a release date trailer available in English and Japanese.
Players who want to follow Gundam Rogue Orbit until launch can use the Playority Calendar to save games to their account, receive notifications and keep personalized updates organized around release date, platforms, PC availability and new details before launch.
