Guns & Dragons is a new fantasy roguelite first-person shooter from ABUTTON, announced for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. The game mixes guns, bows, magic, and technology inside a colorful magitech world, with ranged combat built around weapon builds that grow more excessive as each run develops. Before release, players will be able to try it through a playtest running from July 30 to August 10, 2026, accessible through the “Request Access” button on the Steam page. The game will also be playable at ChinaJoy 2026 from July 31 to August 3.

The structure supports both solo play and cooperative runs for up to three players. Each attempt sends players into caverns, dungeons, and villages filled with monsters, with a fast pace and a clear goal: survive the fights, build impossible weapons, and see how far absurd fantasy firepower can carry the run. Between attempts, players can expand their base and develop gear enhanced by arcane technology.
The main hook is the way the arsenal evolves. A run can begin with a regular firearm or a classic bow, but runes, artifacts, enchanted ammunition, and upgrades can push that weapon into something far stranger and more dangerous. Guns & Dragons is built around experimentation, encouraging players to chase combinations that are not only strong, but also unpredictable, excessive, and hard to repeat in exactly the same way.
The roguelite side leans on that constant variation. No two runs are meant to play the same, as skills, relics, and weapon upgrades gradually reshape combat style and strategy. The tone is deliberately over-the-top, but the action is still framed around real pressure: cunning enemies, demanding firefights, and tough bosses are there to test reflexes, positioning, and the ability to adjust a build before the run collapses.
