Drawing on the 1980s animated series, the game sends Eternia’s heroes into battle against Skeletor and Evil-Lyn. Skeletor is preparing an ancient ritual that threatens to bring the world under his control, giving players a campaign of thirteen stages in which to stop him.

Four characters are playable: He-Man, Teela, Man-at-Arms and She-Ra. Each has distinct strengths, moves and abilities, including magic, with power-ups providing further tools during combat. Battle Cat also joins the fight on the heroes’ side, using his claws against the enemy forces.

The wider cast includes TrapJaw, Kobra Khan and Orko, alongside other familiar characters. Their appearances draw from the classic cartoon and action figure designs, with Bitmap Bureau handling the game’s two-dimensional artwork and animation.

To follow this release alongside other upcoming games, the Playority release calendar lets players add titles to their accounts and receive updates about launch dates.
