Imperiums: The Americas adds a political and spiritual layer to leadership. Shamans, rituals, Cultural Mandates and Crisis Councils help guide communities under pressure, respond to famine, war or environmental collapse and keep internal cohesion from breaking apart. Research is handled through a dynamic, non-linear invention tree, with new paths emerging based on player decisions and changing circumstances.
