Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days will leave Early Access and launch in version 1.0 in March 2027, while also coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. PikPok’s zombie survival game will be available for PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, with GeForce NOW support planned and Steam Deck Verified status set to be maintained.

The game is set in 1980s Texas, inside Walton City, a coastal metropolis hit by economic collapse, a brutal heatwave and then a zombie outbreak. Players guide a group of ordinary survivors from shelter to shelter, scavenging supplies, crafting gear and deciding how to keep people alive as hunger, exhaustion, trauma and despair begin to break the group down.
The structure mixes side-scrolling survival, shelter management and difficult moral choices. Barricades cannot hold forever, trips into the ruins can cost lives, and stealth is often the safest answer when zombies or hostile humans stand in the way. Since its Early Access debut in April 2025, the game has received 13 major updates adding new zombie types, characters, escape plans, weapons, districts, systems and missions.
On Steam, Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is listed with an 89/100 user rating across roughly 9,000 votes, giving PC players a useful snapshot of its current reception. Players tracking survival releases across 2027 can follow it through the Playority Calendar, while more details are available on the official website for Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days.
