Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will leave Early Access and launch on September 2, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. Digital Sun and 11 bit studios’ action RPG roguelite will also be available through Game Pass. A demo can be played now on every platform, while the PC edition has been available in Early Access since November 19, 2025.

Version 1.0 will conclude the main story and introduce new weapons, armor, and the Bomb Path, a combat ability that causes enemies to explode after taking enough hits and damages nearby targets. Will can also upgrade his shop to its final level, unlocking more Bloblet slots, additional cosmetic options, and extra room to personalize Tresna. The balance between running a business and exploring dangerous dungeons remains central to the adventure introduced through the official website for Moonlighter.
Completing the story will open the Infinite Endless Vault, a post-game challenge built around increasingly difficult runs filled with gold. Experienced merchants can raise the stakes further through Hardcore mode, where falling inside a dungeon sends the player back to the very beginning of the adventure.
The announcement also creates an opportunity to catch up with the original game. Moonlighter can be claimed for free on Steam until August 9 and will remain in the player’s library after being added to the account. With a multiplatform demo, console versions, expanded shop management, and new endgame challenges, the 1.0 release adds substantial content for both new merchants and Early Access players.
