Sony has announced the October 2026 additions to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Premium members, along with new Classics Catalog titles for Premium subscribers. The lineup includes Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West and Mycopunk, while Dino Crisis 2 joins the classics selection. Most titles arrive on October 20 worldwide, although a few games have different availability dates in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan.
Mafia: The Old Country is one of the biggest additions for PS5 owners. The third-person action adventure returns to the origins of organized crime in early twentieth-century Sicily. Players follow Enzo Favara as he attempts to earn his place within the Family, navigating a world shaped by violence, vendettas and competing loyalties. Its historical setting brings together knife fights, sawed-off shotguns, horseback travel and the earliest motorcars, with an emphasis on the series’ cinematic storytelling.
Horizon Forbidden West also returns to PlayStation Plus on PS5 and PS4. This is a re-release within the subscription service rather than the game’s first appearance there. Aloy’s journey leads her into the Forbidden West, where dangerous machines and unfamiliar tribes stand between her and the answers she needs. The adventure mixes exploration and combat with alliances between factions and the search for knowledge about a distant past that continues to shape its post-apocalyptic world.
For something focused on cooperative action, Mycopunk joins the catalog on PS5. This mission-based looter shooter supports up to four players and revolves around a crew of discarded robots given another opportunity by the SAXON corporation. Their assignment is to investigate a fungal disaster spreading across an alien planet. Players can experiment with hundreds of handcrafted upgrades, modifying their builds as they tackle hostile organisms and try to uncover what caused the catastrophe.
The Midnight Walk is another PS5 addition, featuring a dark fantasy world built from physical clay models and presented with stop-motion-inspired animation. Players become the Burnt One and travel with Potboy, a lantern-like companion whose flame helps illuminate the way but also attracts dangerous creatures. Its story unfolds across five interconnected tales, and the adventure can be played either on a standard screen or in PlayStation VR2. It becomes available on October 14 in the US and UK, October 15 in Japan, and October 20 in other regions.
Three more games round out the Extra and Premium Game Catalog selection. Monster Energy Supercross 25: The Official Video Game brings motorcycle racing, redesigned tracks and a revamped career mode to PS5. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 continues the horror puzzle adventure inside an abandoned toy factory on PS5 and PS4, with new threats awaiting players deeper inside the building. Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition brings the fantasy RPG and its additional content to both consoles. All three join on October 20 in most regions, but October 27 in the US, UK and Japan.
Premium subscribers will also gain access to Dino Crisis 2 in the Classics Catalog on PS5 and PS4. Capcom’s dinosaur action game follows Regina and newcomer Dylan after a temporal catastrophe, expanding the setting beyond enclosed facilities into prehistoric jungles, caves and lakes. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition is another Premium addition, offering amusement park management with scenarios, staffing, finances and a sandbox mode for unrestricted construction.
October 20 also brings new Premium game trials for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell II. PlayStation Plus members will receive additional horror-themed offers, including a World War Z cosmetic bundle and a Back 4 Blood promotion. The Tunnels of Terror expansion for Back 4 Blood will be available at no additional cost from October 21 through November 4, alongside discounts on other downloadable content. Dead by Daylight will also hold a community challenge to unlock an exclusive cosmetic pack.
